Ian is a qualified member of the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech as an adjudicator with special interest in choral classes, composition, brass, vocal and orchestral ensemble work. He has adjudicated music festivals the length and breadth of the UK and abroad. He is well known for his dynamic and encouraging presentation style, and wholehearted commitment to the tradition of Music Festivals, and has also been an adjudicator for 'Music for Youth' regional auditions and adjudicated at the Finals in Birmingham and London.
